EVENT OVERVIEW
The Golf Channel Amateur Tour will host the innaugural Mid Pines/Mid South Amateur Championship. Players from across the country will experience two of the best courses in Pinehurst. Mid Pines is a classic Donald Ross masterpiece that world class players continually find time to stop by and play. It was recently host the the USGA Womens Senior Open in 2019 and will be host the USGA Womens Open in 2022. The Mid South Club is one of the best Arnold Palmer designed courses in the US. Players will be challenged with fast undulating greens and pristine course conditions.
QUALIFIERS
The top 3 finishers per flight, including ties, will earn an exemption into the 2020 National Championship.

36-hole stroke play championship. All entries are on a first come, first served basis

Tournament check-in will be from 3:30pm to 6:30pm at the Mid-Pines Clubhouse
Saturday May 16th, 2020
First Round of play from 7:30 to 9:30 am off Holes #1 and #10 Mid Pines and Mid South
Sunday May 17th, 2020
Final Round of play from 7:30 to 9:30 am off Holes #1 and #10 Mid Pines and Mid South
Sunday May 17th, 2020
Awards Presentation at the course that you completed your round as soon as the flight is completed.
ENTRY FEE & PAYMENT OPTION
$495 is the entry fee and it includes one scheduled round on the Mid Pines Course and one scheduled round for the Mid South Course. Entry fee includes all green fees, cart fees, range balls, trophies, player welcome packs, generous prize fund, and scoring
ENTRY DEADLINE
Registration Opens on January1st at noon and closes on May 1st, 2020 at Noon.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A $75 Cancellation fee applies to any cancellation prior to May 1st, 2020 an 12:00PM. Any cancellation after May 1st, 2020 an 12:00PM will not be refunded for any reason.
The Mid Pines Resort is the host hotel.
Mid Pines Resort is offering a $119 ++ room rate. Reservations can be made by calling 910-692-7111 and asking for reservations at Mid Pines Inn. Make sure to let them know that you are with the Golf Channel Amateur Tour.
